Thanksgiving is an annual holiday dedicated to expressing thanks and praise to God for His blessings throughout the year. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November in the U.S.
Even after the trials of this past year, all of us have much for which to be thankful. Forgiveness of sin, eternal life, family, friends, health, jobs, food, and shelter are some of His continued blessings for which we give thanks amidst trials, turmoil, and trouble.
All men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God and ponder what He has done. The righteous shall be glad in the LORD, and shall trust in Him. Let all the upright in heart exult! (Psalm 64:9-10)
Here is a quiz I put together on the topic of Thanksgiving. Most answers are in the Bible, but the answers will also appear in next Wednesday’s blog post
2020 Thanksgiving Quiz Answers immediately preceding Thanksgiving.
Some of these quiz questions are easy and some are hard, but all are intriguing. And all prompt reflection on the Scriptural theme of Thanks. Try to answer first without using the Bible. Enjoy!

Know that the Lord Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving,
And His courtyards with praise.
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting
And His faithfulness is to all generations. (Psalm 100:3-5)
