Wednesday was the most popular day of the week to read the blog in 2022 with 16% of the blog views occurring on that day — probably because Wednesday is the day I publish the weekly blog post. (But this does not count blog posts read in email by subscribed followers.) This means viewership is fairly evenly spread throughout the week, since an equal distribution of views throughout the week would have 14.3% per day of the week.
The 52 new articles for 2022 for the Bible-Science Guy Blog averaged 1,386 words each, about a 4-minute read. January was the busiest month of 2022 with 2,803 readers and 4,671 views. April was the slowest month with 1,418 readers and 2,195 views.
The Bible-Science Guy Blog started in October 2007. To learn the essence of this BibleScienceGuy website and my reasons for writing the articles, click Why Do I Write the Bible-Science Guy Blog? The BibleScienceGuy website now comprises 861 posts, 87 newspaper articles, and 10 tab pages for a total of 958 items. During 2022, exactly 326 of these 958 items were viewed at least 10 times each. Over the life of the blog, 551,208 readers have viewed the blog 936,485 times, as of the end of 2022.
The 10 articles with the most views during 2022 were all published in prior years. Of the 66 articles with 100 or more views during 2022, only 3 were published in 2022. New posts were also received by email by 1,135 weekly subscribers, but reading the articles in email is not tallied in the statistics for readers and views.

Best of 2022 Bible-Science Guy Articles
Below are my choices for the 12 Best Bible-Science Guy Blog Posts from 2022, listed in order of publication date. I chose the posts I liked best — the ones I found most interesting, most important, or best written. Other factors that influenced selection included reader views and feedback.
Science in the Bible – Bread (January 12)
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death for people in the United States. Did you know that the Bible mentions a way to strengthen your heart that has been scientifically confirmed? It’s part of the Great Creator‘s benevolent design for the care of His people.
This is the 35th article in the
Science in the Bible series of blog posts.
Famous Thinkers – Patriot Is a Creationist (January 19)
A Connecticut patriot boldly proclaimed his faith in the Great Creator and credited the Lord with battlefield success. This Founding Father helped write the Declaration of Independence and is the only man who signed all four of America’s founding documents. Who is he? This is the 26th article in the Famous Thinkers series highlighting great men and women who believed in the Creator.
Robin or Robinosaurus? (May 25)
Did you know that most evolutionists maintain that birds evolved from dinosaurs? Did robins really descend from dinosaurs? If so, where is the Robinosaurus? Finding this nest of robin eggs at a campground prompted consideration of these questions. The sequels, Robins Hatch and Robin Mystery, reported on the development of the baby robins with pictures.
Shiphrah & Puah Cheer (June 29)
Do you know who Shiphrah and Puah are? Do you wonder why they were ecstatic this year?
Fearing God, Shiphrah and Puah boldly stood against an evil order to kill newborn babies thirty-five hundred years ago in Egypt. It is likely that Shiphrah and Puah witnessed (Hebrews 12:1) and rejoiced over June’s U.S. Supreme Court ruling that there is no right to kill unborn babies in the U.S. Constitution. In the majority opinion for the court, Justice Samuel Alito wrote: “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”
Kepler Finds Strange Creature (July 27)
Ambling through our campground, I (Kepler) found a dead animal. It looked like a very big overgrown rat with a pointy face, a long, hairless tail, and scraggly fur. Ugliest thing ever! But then the carcass vanished. Why did the Great Creator make the thing? What good is it? I learned it has many benefits. This was the 49th in a series of blog posts by a precocious Jack Russell terrier named Kepler. His only other blog post this year was Kepler and the FRIB.
Remembering the Inventor of MRI
(August 17)
Dr. Raymond V. Damadian (1936-1922) was a world-famous medical doctor and inventor who revolutionized the field of medicine. He is best known for discovering and inventing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). This diagnostic tool is now used worldwide to detect cancer. Damadian was a Biblical Creationist. He personally told me that he once thought evolution to be “science fiction,” but he now considered it “scientific nonsense.”
Fudging with Comets (September 28)
Most comets cannot last more than about 10,000 years. Then why do we still see comets if the Solar System is billions of years old? The multitude of visible comets is clear evidence that the Solar System is not billions of years old. But to counter this obvious conclusion, evolutionists have postulated a fudge factor. It has absolutely no evidence, but it is widely believed and taught. This is the final article in a series on comets. Other articles in the series include:
Curious Comets
Halley’s Comet
Halley’s Surprise
Mystery of the Missing Mass (October 5)
A great cosmic mystery currently flummoxes mainstream astronomers: there is too little observable mass to hold galaxies together. If galaxies are billions of years old as evolutionary astronomers believe, then there should be no galaxies in existence today; all galaxies should have disintegrated into individual stars eons ago. However, a change of perspective solves the mystery.
Having “The Talk” Goes Off-Track
(October 12)
In the TV comedy Everybody Loves Raymond, the title character Raymond was nervous about doing a “growing-up talk” with his 10-year-old daughter Ally. With five how-to books under his arm, Raymond went to her room expecting to discuss the process of reproduction. But what weighed on the young girl’s mind was a very different question: “Why did God put us here?” How would you answer?
Reindeer Don’t Fly (October 19)
Reindeer Don’t Fly is the intriguing title of an outstanding book by Michael Earl Riemer. The book is truly a masterpiece of logic, analysis, and science. This critique of evolutionary theory is devastatingly effective as it highlights the actual dearth of science in evolutionary theory and shows that it is merely a religion. Read this review of the book to learn the reason for the catchy title.
Noah Says Don’t Miss the Boat (November 30)
Noah preached to a sin-soaked world full of wickedness, violence, and evil. Noah’s message was essentially, “Judgment is coming! Don’t miss the boat!” But Noah preached in vain. His message was ignored. His hearers missed the boat!
The message for today is similar to the message Noah preached:
Judgment is coming! Don’t miss the boat! Turn to Jesus!
This is the 25th and final article in a year-long Series on Noah suggesting answers to many questions people have about Noah, Noah’s Ark, and Noah’s Flood. Some of the especially interesting articles in the series include:
Did Jesus Think Noah Was Real?
How Big Was Noah’s Ark?
Were Dinosaurs on Noah’s Ark?
Evidence of Noah’s Flood: Worldwide Memories
How Did Noah’s Kangaroos Get to Australia?
How Could Noah Love a God Who Killed So Many People?
Crammed (December 7)
Earth truly is crammed with the blessings of heaven. The universe is full of the presence and evidence of the Great Creator. Every sunrise, every star, every scenic vista speaks of the presence, power, and glory of the Great Creator. Many are unseeing, unaware of the hand of God in every blessing and every daily event. Are you someone who sees?

For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy. (Exodus 20:11)
