May 2012

And God created the great sea monsters, and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarmed after their kind, and every winged bird after its kind; and God saw that it was good. … Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind”; and it was so. And God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:21,24,25)

  1. Great article Dr. Pelletier! It was short, but managed to cover a lot of ground in witnessing to the evidence available that the dragon legend may have a basis in fact. I was also pleased that you left the door open to the possibility (albeit small) of certain species of “dragons” (dinosaurs, plesiosaurs) still existing today in remote areas of the world.

I would certainly be excited about the ramifications of a confirmed discovery of any type of dinosaur being found alive today. Although I am sure that Darwinists would come up with an appropriate spin to salvage their ubiquitous “creation” myth, it would most appropriately serve to vindicate quality creationist organizations such as Answers in Genesis, who have consistently maintained that dinosaurs and humans co-existed.

    • Thanks for your encouraging words, Lynn. I appreciate them.

Personally, I think it is likely that there are still dragons/dinosaurs alive. If evidence supporting the Biblical record like live dinosaurs/dragons or Noah’s Ark on Mt. Ararat is ever found, then evolutionists will flood the media with their naturalistic interpretations. Interpretations of evidence are always driven by world views, and many fail to distinguish between the evidential facts and the interpretations of those facts.

In my opinion, the strongest “evidence” for the co-existence of men and dragons/dinosaurs is the Biblical record, as I outlined in the article.
